Important Announcements

Hi everyone! I’m just checking in for two important things.

First, I would like to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving next week. My son will be home from college and we usually have a quiet family dinner together in the formal dining room (used a maximum of two times per year!).  Then we may watch some football or go to a movie.  I hope you all enjoy some good food, some good quality family time…and give thanks for both.

Secondly, I would like to make you all aware than I will be “passing the baton” to my business partner Bonnie Garby at the end of 2009, and she will be sole proprietor of Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Bonnie has been cutting, packing and keeping inventory for almost two years now, so the transition will be seamless; if anything, things will get better and better! Please join me in wishing her the best of luck as she takes on the whole shebang.

I’ll REALLY miss being part of the business, and I’ll especially miss the wonderful people I’ve met along the way.  I’m not sure where my path will go, but I hope to stay involved in rubberstamping and papercrafting in some capacity.  Please keep in touch; my e-mail address will stay as organza@optonline.net for awhile.  Thanks so very much to you all; please continue to support Bonnie and Really Reasonable Ribbon!!

We’ll be away for a week beginning the 11th!

We will be away from the “ribbon room” between Friday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 18 and will not be packing any ribbon during that time. We MAY begin packing again on the 19th, but we will DEFINITELY begin packing orders again by Monday the 21st. They will be packed on a first come-first served basis and should begin shipping again that day (it may take a couple of days for us to get caught up). We’ve added a “FAST PACKING” option to the website; if you add it to your shopping cart we’ll give your order top priority when we return.

A Month?????

I can’t believe it has been a month since I posted last. So sorry everyone! I must admit I’d gotten frustrated with the challenge of posting here, so maybe that’s part of it.

I guess the biggest news at Really Reasonable Ribbon is that I’ve been very busy marking down LOTS of ribbons, so please go on over to http://www.reasonableribbon.com to check out the discounted styles in the “SPECIALS” category.

The other thing you may be interested in is an overstock sale on 1/4″ grosgrain: FULL SPOOLS of navy, white and red (they were special-ordered for someone who returned them….yep 180 spools returned….no more special orders I’m sorry to say).  They are in the “even less”  sub-section of the “SPECIALS” category.
