We’ve moved our blog!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog has moved!  With the help of  Erika Taylor (who has an awesome blog of her own!) we have relocated and updated our look.  The new blog is up and ready to roll.  Please visit the new improved Really Reasonable Ribbon blog today!  

 Beginning in February I have two super design team members who will each post weekly projects, and I have another few ‘guest designers’ that will jump in now and then.  Erika has been kind enough to give us a sneak-peek and has posted a super project for us today.  Stop in and take a peek and let us know what you think!!

Hello From rural Saskatchewan

Hi Everyone, I’m Erika Taylor and I just wanted to take a few moments to let you all know that I’m elated to be the first design team member for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  My first experience with Really Reasonable Ribbon was quite a few months ago. As a design team member for Hearts in Touch, I was sent this great little package of ribbon  as a thank you.  It was a 10 yard variety pack and at that point, I had very little ribbon at all. Well that package of teals and blues got me wanting reds and pinks, then golds and blacks and before ya know it, I have a ribbon collection. AND I LOVE IT!

I hope that you will all tell your family, friends and crafting buddies about the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. We are going to have so much to share and as time passes, I am sure we will be looking to expand our design team. So bookmark us, add us to your blog roll and follow along on a new adventure.

Hello Ribbon Lovers!!

Hello everyone.  I am soooo excited to be the new owner of Really Reasonable Ribbon!  I’ve been very busy restocking ribbon, and now it’s time to tackle the technical stuff, which I’ve put off as long as possible!  I’m typically the quiet one as I don’t really have all that much to say, but I’m going to try to post on a regular basis. I’ll have some cool projects, not to mention special promotions and contests.   First, I have to learn a little something about blogging!!  This is my first post, so things will improve (I hope!).

I’m very excited to announce  Erika Tayor from Taylord Concepts as  the first member of the Really Reasonable Ribbon design team.  She has a gorgeous blog with all kinds of cool artwork.  Be sure to check it out.  I’m so lucky that she has agreed to post weekly on this blog with a variety of projects and tutorials beginning in February.  I can’t wait to see what she creates for us!

Important Announcements

Hi everyone! I’m just checking in for two important things.

First, I would like to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving next week. My son will be home from college and we usually have a quiet family dinner together in the formal dining room (used a maximum of two times per year!).  Then we may watch some football or go to a movie.  I hope you all enjoy some good food, some good quality family time…and give thanks for both.

Secondly, I would like to make you all aware than I will be “passing the baton” to my business partner Bonnie Garby at the end of 2009, and she will be sole proprietor of Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Bonnie has been cutting, packing and keeping inventory for almost two years now, so the transition will be seamless; if anything, things will get better and better! Please join me in wishing her the best of luck as she takes on the whole shebang.

I’ll REALLY miss being part of the business, and I’ll especially miss the wonderful people I’ve met along the way.  I’m not sure where my path will go, but I hope to stay involved in rubberstamping and papercrafting in some capacity.  Please keep in touch; my e-mail address will stay as organza@optonline.net for awhile.  Thanks so very much to you all; please continue to support Bonnie and Really Reasonable Ribbon!!

We MAY begin packing again on the 19th, but we will DEFINITELY begin packing orders again by Monday the 21st. They will be packed on a first come-first served basis and should begin shipping again that day (it may take a couple of days for us to get caught up). We’ve added a “FAST PACKING” option to the website; if you add it to your shopping cart we’ll give your order top priority when we return.
